We are pleased to offer secluded countryside accommodation within the tranquil and beautiful surroundings of the small East Anglian country village of West Wratting. Located In easy reach of Cambridge (10 miles), Newmarket (6 miles), Standsted Airport (32 miles), Duxford (14 miles) and London (60 miles), please note all mileage is approx.

The accommodation comprises of a country cottage that sleeps upto 6 persons and a self contained four poster room with en-suite that sleeps upto 2 persons. Car parking facilities are available. All set within a peaceful country garden, complete with patios, ponds and a summer house for your complete relaxation. The garden also hosts many varieties of birds and cottage garden plants.

West Wratting is a small country village with a country style pub, neighbouring villages offer villages shops, post offices and several more pubs.

Bakery Cottage

Sleeps 1 - 6 persons

We are pleased to offer self catering accommodation catering for 1 to 6 persons with 2 double bedrooms and a twin/double with en-suite.

The cottage is set over 2 floors, upstairs hosts 1 double bedroom and 1 twin/double bedroom with ensuite, down stairs hosts 1 double bedroom, a shower room, kitchen, lounge and dinning area. The lounge has a 32 inch flat screen TV with freeview, a DVD player and free Wi-Fi.

Outside hosts a driveway with off road parking to the front, access to the rear benefits from use of our beautiful gardens and patios.

Four Poster Room

Sleeps 1 - 2 persons

We are pleased to offer a stunning self-catering, self contained accommodation for 1 to 2 persons with 1 double bedroom.

The Four Poster Room is set over 1 floor, downstairs, open plan with 1 double bed / lounge / dining area and separate shower room. The room has a flat screen TV with freeview and free Wi-Fi.

Outside has access to our beautiful gardens and patios.

  • Our stay at Bakery Cottage was everything we could have asked for. Our family, 4 adults and two children (1yr & 4yr) stayed for just over a week and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The cottage is comfortable, cosy and immaculate. Carol is a lovely host and accommodating. It is a lovely, peaceful spot.   • Six adults are easily accommodated in this quaint but well equipped cottage. It has everything you need to self cater. The garden is quiet and secluded, overgrown at the edges, and very nice. It is great for a quiet morning coffee or afternoon tea, or listening to the church bells. The village of West Wratting is well located for touring to Cambridge, the Fens, Ely, Norwich, the coast and much more. Six members of my family, all adults, spent five nights at the Bakery Cottage and we all enjoyed it very much. The host Carol was very nice and very helpful. Highly recommended.

  • We stayed in Bakery cottage for a week from 20th May. It is a very cosy cottage and well equipped. The owner, Carol, is a very friendly and helpful lady. There is a downstairs bedroom and shower room which suited us because one of our party has mobility problems. The upstairs is very spacious with two large bedrooms and a shower room. The beds are really comfortable. Wifi access is very good. We had good weather so were able to enjoy the beautiful garden in garden chairs supplied by Carol. I would recommend this cottage.
